UGA advisor published in NACADA pocket guide

Jill Hartmann-Roberts, an academic advisor in the Intended Majors group within UGA’s Exploratory Center, was published in NACADA’s Advising is Forever Pocket Guide, a national publication.

Her piece “Excellence in Advising Mentorship” discussed her career transition to advising and how strong mentorship helped her gain confidence in advising students.

She writes about how important it is to foster a positive workplace culture and have support from leadership and fellow advisors.
