Jackie Turk

Intended Advisor

Jackie grew up in West Virginia and still loves cheering for her beloved WVU Mountaineers. She graduated from Frostburg State University with a BA in Psychology. She moved to Georgia in 1991 and earned an MS degree in Child and Family Development (now called Human Development and Family Sciences). Jackie is proud to be a Georgia Bulldog and part of Dawg Nation. While waiting for college football season to start, Jackie enjoys binge watching The Office, Parks and Recreation, Friends, Frasier, and Forensic Files. She is always in the mood to talk about Georgia football or favorite episodes from her favorite sit-coms and movies. Jackie and her husband, Shawn, have one adult son and a houseful of dogs (all rescues and/or foster fails). #GoDawgs Favorite past-times: Watching college football and waiting for college football season to start again.

Sage Midterm Check-In Progress Survey

On Oct. 9, faculty should receive an invitation to complete a Progress Survey from the Office of Instruction with an email subject: SAGE: Student Progress Survey. This is completely voluntary, but a great way to provide and express concerns or encouragement.
