Emily coordinates dual enrollment academic advising and transfer services for the University of Georgia. In this role, she works with prospective and current students, as well as supporting university efforts to enhance the transfer student experience. A life-long Floridian, she attended the University of Florida and earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with minors in Disabilities in Society and Family, Youth & Community Sciences. Emily then made her way to Athens for her master’s degree in College Student Affairs Administration. During her graduate degree, she worked in career services and saw snow for the first time right here in Georgia. After, Emily worked as an academic advisor with education majors at the University of North Florida. In her spare time, you can find her reading, practicing yoga, and missing the beach.
