An Explore Consultation is a 1-hour meeting with an Explore advisor (either in person or via Zoom) in which major/career resources are shared and discussed. Academic advisors in the Exploratory Center are specially trained to help Exploring students identify a major that aligns with their interests and skills. Explore advisors help students understand the anatomy of an undergraduate degree, encourage students to examine their values, interests, and goals to promote self-authorship, as well as identify and connect students to resources for additional information and support. Please note that advising holds cannot be cleared in a consultation. Following your consultation, you can be paired with an Explore Advisor (for regular advising) upon request.
