Advisor Workshops

Every fall and spring semester, the AACC hosts an advisor workshop.

The primary purposes of the workshops are to:

• provide important information to new and experienced advisors about degree requirements, campus resources, and other issues related to academic advising;
• increase the visibility of academic advising at UGA and recognize the important role advisors can play in student success; and
• offer a forum for faculty and professional staff advisors from across campus to get to know one another, develop working relationships, and discuss issues of common concern.

Workshop dates are determined at the beginning of each semester and announced via the ADVISE-CONNECT listserv.
