Jennifer Eberhart

Exploratory Center Coordinator

Jennifer is a native Georgian who earned an AB in history and an MEd in social science education from UGA. After spending many years teaching high school social studies across the Southeast, she is enjoying life as an Athenian once again. Jennifer and her husband, Derek, who directs Innovation Gateway in the Office of Research, have one adult son who is a recent college graduate. Jennifer has been advising since 2014, and her most memorable experience at UGA was the launch of the Exploratory Center in 2016. Jennifer started college as an undecided student who was considering a career in the journalism field, but after taking a few college level history courses, she became hooked on history and declared it as her major. She considers education to be her life’s work. Favorite past-times: Traveling, reading, and hiking. Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw
